here’s one of the walls in my studio: you may not be able to see it yet, but i think i found the direction to pull this painting. the way i work is a little odd: i pulled a figure out of the big canvas from a mess of scribbles and theni go do a small, quick study for the pose from a model. this one is going to be a straight up Ribera scene i think. black, brown and fleshy
